is at hand.
An Appendix to Revelations
In the end was the word; the last word and it was
with the devil. There is a tradition in fairy tales
on how to beat the devil. This tradition come from
a world that was near linear. Well, we have finally
gotten past the knee of that curve to the point
where Satan wins and God finally crumples
from the word back to just letters. The planet
itself follows suit and takes to regrouping its
surface in an effort to shake and burn its unbearable
burden. Humanity itself be gone as the last vestiges
of silicone based life (e.g. "AI" fizzles away into
oblivion, or even further) and the devil falls
along with it all.
Somehow it seems like the price
of God's victory over Satan is a bit high.

and other assorted actors in the world theater:
Dear President Putin,
I am writing to you because I have come to the conclusion that you need
help.
I think it would be most beneficial to you that, before you make
another one
of your important decisions, you spend an occasional afternoon
constructing
and building something useful with your own hands and tools. This
therapeutic
action can be a very simple thing, anything really, just make sure to
bring
it to a satisfactory completion. After having anchored yourself by way
of
doing something real and thereafter, knowing what it actually takes to
do
something useful, go back to your other important work. You might just
find
your perspective improved and experience the real satisfaction you
crave.
